Adam El Mihdawy Wins el Torneo Internacional de Tenis Berimbau 2016

Loriet Player Adam El Mihdawy (USA) won the XV Torneo Internacional de Tenis Berimbau 2016. El Mihdawy played Farris Fathi Gosea (GBR) in the final. The matched lasted an hour and thirty minutes with El Mihdawy prevailing 7-6 (7/3) 6-3. 

The first set was intense. With neither player managing to break his opponent, the tension grew as the set came to a tiebreak. El Mihdawy persevered and claimed the first set 7-6 (7/3). 

El Mihdawy began the second set aggressively going up 4- 2. From there El Mihdawy dominated winning his next two service games easily, and ultimately the match 7-6 (7/3) 6-3. 

This is the ninth title that El Mihdawy has won in a futures tournament since 2010, in Bolivia, Mexico, the United States and in Turkey.
